  The 1st Day of the 1st Chodesh

Colossians 1:16

For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.

Two of those invisible "things" that he created were and are the ecliptic plane, and the prime meridian. Both these invisible lines are "straight and narrow paths.  Using these lines to determine when each of the chodeshim begins for "HIS Ways", has been most beneficial in recording events mentioned in scripture.  We have been given so many specific dates in the bible it was hard for some of us to ignore.  We just had to see what we could find.

This website has left up the previous records of dates so that you can compare previous chodeshim if needed. You will see that last year the year began on March 11th also. The data gathered for this 1st chodesh gives us a result that works out to be a 365-day solar year. You will notice that using "Man's Way" the year will have only 355 days. There will need to be intercalation at some point in time.

We don't see any value in arguing over which is best, or better. It is important to be aware that there are two disciplines. Even Jacob saw himself as the sun, and his wife Leah as the moon when told of Joseph's dream. But HIS design, He created man and woman to be one, united. They each have a part to play. Personally, I am grateful that "Man's Way" has survived the many challenges of other nations trying to thwart those that are keeping the instructions to the best of their ability.

As we continue to work on the Yom 4 series, we see many nations using various methods to extinguish YHVH's chosen people. Praise Him and all those that serve Him faithfully.
