A Paradox of Positions

If you have been following along you understand that The Disciples Table is a "month" ahead of most of those following the traditional practice of Judaism.

God is in control. Do not fret. Do not worry. Follow your heart. Study the scriptures and seek to understand what it is that God's purpose is for you. Have you determined the path you will take? This chodesh is unique in that some in Judaism acknowledged this as the 7th month because they accepted that the “aviv” (Canaanite word) was ready in March and did not have to wait until April. To be clear the majority in Judaism believe they are now in the 6th month because they began their year in April.
Determining the start for this chodesh was seemingly difficult because as we worked with Stellarium the data was changing often. But we did find that there were four days when September 7th was found to be .01 seconds, (0h00m00.01s Az/Alt +180° 00'00.3"). Those days were when we pulled data on August 18th, September 3rd, September 9th and September 13th. Having four days where we could confirm the exact same information and no other day in the month of September showed this consistency, we determined that September 7th was the first day of the 7th chodesh. However, this 7th chodesh does not agree with those who did start the calendar year in March because they still use the moon to begin a month.

Okay, so this is getting all so confusing. But remember our focus is also on when the sun and the moon are in unity. Therefore, we continue to track each one of the chodeshim to determine if there is an upcoming event.

Thus far the American elections are taking center stage, and all the eyes of the world are upon it. Is it not a coincidence that the sun is presently in the sign of the virgin and abortion has become a central topic in the debate, if not the 1st priority for the Democratic party’s platform? On this one-point America could not be more divided on the subject. Let us not forget that our founding fathers said that our country was founded “under God”. Which means, in our opinion, “under the authority of God”. Ask yourself, has America continued to obey its precepts?

There can be nothing good that can come from a nation that goes its own way and disregards the authority of God. We are sensitive to the subject of abortion, and we understand the deep commitment on both sides. But God's standard remains. He does not change. It is our hearts that need to change. Can we change course and instead try to discover new solutions for the problems a woman is faced with and give her other alternatives? Assist those who need help and support them. We are to love our neighbor above all and we are to value life. For after all was it not one of the very first commandments of Elohim to Adam.

As the sun travels through The Virgin, it will in the days ahead reach The Scales. A time for justice and judgement.
